Citizen Science using the Proof Ball
When signing up for the donation of $40.00 you will receive a Fishtechy Proofball, along with a medallion and lanyard for images of your catches.
Images uploaded to this site will just have fish information; no GPS coordinates will be shown.
The purpose of this program is to help fellow anglers and support the efforts of Arizona Game and Fish (AZGFD) to improve the quality of fishing in our state. This is accomplished by fishing areas requested by AZGFD, capturing data, maintaining stream sensors, and producing reports and images of various fisheries around the State.
We will also be holding virtual fishing tournaments by using Proofball, with prizes being provided by manufacturers and local fly shops.
